OUR STORY
YAWA was born from experience, not theory.Our roots go back more than 30 years, to live music, professional sound and lighting engineering — working with artists, venues, rental companies and technical teams in environments where equipment has to perform night after night.
Before designing loudspeakers, we worked behind them.Our experience was built through live sound, rental, lighting, system engineering and permanent installation. Over three decades, members of our team have contributed to more than 1,000 projects, ranging from clubs, restaurants and hotels to theatres, entertainment venues, corporate spaces and live events.
Working in the field taught us lessons that specifications alone cannot: how a system behaves in a real room, how it interacts with architecture, how it performs under pressure and, ultimately, how sound connects music with people.
YAWA grew naturally from this background.We took decades of practical experience and began turning it into products of our own — combining acoustic engineering, measurement, material research, manufacturing and critical listening.
We don't design products in isolation. We prototype, measure, listen, install and refine them in the environments they were created for. Every generation is an opportunity to improve what came before.
Today, YAWA systems are already operating across a growing number of venues, while a new generation of products is being developed for a broader international market.

OUR TEAM
YAWA brings together a European team with complementary expertise in professional audio, acoustics, live sound, system engineering, manufacturing and international business development.
At the core of YAWA is more than 30 years of hands-on experience in professional sound and lighting — from rental and live production to system design, installation and product development.
In the United Kingdom, Patrick develops YAWA's international presence, working directly with clients, distributors and partners. With an academic background in Business and Law, he brings a commercial perspective to the development of our international network.
In France, our cabinet engineer translates acoustic concepts into precisely engineered enclosures, developing geometry, internal architecture and production solutions through to CNC manufacturing.
In Bucharest, Alex contributes to YAWA's product development, drawing on three decades of field experience to help shape the concepts and character behind YAWA designs.
Different disciplines, countries and perspectives come together around one objective: to create professional sound systems where engineering serves music — and music creates emotion.
YAWA is European by identity — shaped by its engineering culture, its musical heritage and a shared belief that technology should always serve the experience of sound.
